A story set in colonial Massachusetts featuring the Squaw Sachem Weetamoo of the Wampanoag nation as well as Brendon, a young man of English and Irish roots. The characters go on a fantastic journey, and myths and legends from Indigenous and Celtic mythology follow their adventure.
Borrowing from mythology, the left side features Bai Sezhen, a serpent-inspired spirit from Chinese folklore. On the right stands a member of the Tuatha De Danan, a supernatural race of deities from Irish mythology.
The original design for Armacha features a striking pair of wings, cradling a peach and grasping a katana. The peach element draws inspiration from the Japanese folktale of Momotaro. The woman on the right embodies elements of Algonquin culture, showcasing radiant feathers in her black hair and wielding a tomahawk.
